Our dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Center can help you achieve the highest level of independence possible after a serious injury or illness. Our intensive program can help you recover from a wide range of conditions, including:
- Brain injury
- Neurological conditions
- Major trauma
- Medical deconditioning and other disabling conditions
Getting you back to the normal activities of your daily life is our top priority and the focus of our rehabilitation efforts. Our inpatient rehabilitation team is led by a rehabilitation physician (physiatrist) and includes:
- Rehabilitation Director
- Nursing Director
- Occupational therapists
- Physical therapists
- Speech therapists
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Center offers comprehensive therapy services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Physical therapy is designed to help patients regain their strength, endurance, coordination, balance and to improve mobility. Our physical therapists provide patients with comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans.
Occupational therapy helps patients resume their daily routines, including toileting, grooming, bathing, dressing, cooking and working. Occupational therapists use a variety of therapeutic approaches to improve each patient's living skills.
Speech therapy includes the evaluation, treatment and management of patients with disorders of speech, voice, language, cognition, memory and swallowing. Speech therapists provide a wide range of care, including counseling and education.
