Aiken Regional Medical Centers
The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Aiken Regional Medical Centers (ARMC) welcomes you. We are delighted you are considering our institution as a possible location for furthering your medical education.
Our Family Medicine program is pending accreditation by the ACGME, and we will soon apply for accreditation for our Internal Medicine program. Once approved, these programs will be integrated into the core mission of the hospital – to provide superior quality care that patients recommend to their family and friends, and physicians prefer for their patients – while providing unique training opportunities to the next generation of healthcare providers.
We take pleasure in ensuring our residents are well prepared for their respective practice settings and specializations, and are proud of our accomplishments, the high level of care we deliver, and the essential services and educational opportunities we provide to our community.
Aiken Regional Medical Centers is committed to being renowned as one of South Carolina's finest educational institutions, with a reputation for highly competitive graduate medical education programs and a reputation for innovative instruction, research, and outcome-oriented curricula, both regionally and nationally. This once-in-a-lifetime training opportunity will develop a diverse group of culturally competent leaders who will engage the global community to reduce healthcare inequities.
We hope the content included on our website will assist in your decision to select the spirit of inclusion and professionalism that we aim to establish and maintain. We encourage you to learn more about our Office of Graduate Medical Education and to explore training at our facility.
