Aiken Regional Names New Chief Financial Officer
Aiken Regional Medical Centers is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Zyla to Chief Financial Officer, effective November 7, 2022. In this role, Zyla serves as the key financial advisor. He is responsible for oversight of the system’s strategic financial plan to ensure the organization’s overall fiscal viability. He is also responsible for internal controls, monitoring performance and further developing strategic and financial initiatives.
Zyla comes to Aiken Regional from Community Systems’ Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.
“I am pleased to join the Aiken Regional team and be a part of the local community,” said Zyla. “I look forward to assisting in strengthening the business and brand so we can continue to provide high quality, comprehensive healthcare services to my new neighbors and colleagues.”
Zyla brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience to Aiken Regional. He earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was part of the International Honor Society in Business Administration and named an Emerging Healthcare Leader by the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association for 2010-2011.
