Aiken Regional Names New Chief Operating Officer
Aiken Regional Medical Centers is pleased to announce the appointment of 
Patti Monczewski to Chief Operating Officer, effective January 9. In this role, Monczewski is responsible for the hospital’s efficient day to day operations and employee satisfaction, driving growth and market share among service lines, and cultivating relationships within the community.
Monczewski most recently served as chief operating officer with the 317-bed Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
“I am excited to join the Aiken Regional team and be a part of the local community,” said Monczewski. “I look forward to helping grow Aiken Regional, its services and programs to further strengthen the health and well-being of the community; the Aiken Regional team, its patients, your family and our neighbors.”
Monczewski brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience to Aiken Regional previously working with three major healthcare systems. Monczewski is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
She earned a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.
