Test Result Information

About 95 percent of the lab tests collected at our lab are performed in-house and results are typically available within 24-48 hours. Once received, these results are automatically sent to your provider’s office. Copies of reports are also sent to any additional providers involved in your care as requested by you or your doctor. The remaining percentage of tests (about 5 percent) are referred to specialty laboratories for analysis. These tests often involve complex methodologies and may take up to three to seven days to complete.

If you have questions about the interpretation of your test results, please understand that our laboratory staff are not permitted to, nor qualified to, interpret any lab results. Therefore, it is best for you to contact your ordering provider for an explanation on how these lab results may be used to care for you.
