Aiken Regional and Caring for Carolina Host Second Annual Cosmic Bowling Fundraiser

Aiken, SC (October 21, 2014) — The second annual Cosmic Bowling fundraiser to benefit the Children's Place Guardian Angel campaign will take place on Friday, November 14 from 7–11 p.m. at Strikehouse Bowl in Aiken. The Guardian Angel campaign helps to provide underwear, coats, clothing, pajamas and shoes to local children who have experienced behavioral problems caused by trauma, neglect or are at-risk.

Aiken Regional Medical Centers along with the Caring for Carolina partners, Maxwell Law Firm and WJBF News Channel 6, will be hosting the event.

EPA Awards ENERGY STAR Certification for Superior Energy Efficiency

Aiken, SC (July 23, 2014) — Aiken Regional Medical Centers has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification for the second year in a row, which signifies that the facility performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA.

Aiken Regional Medical Center Presents Funds to the Best Chance Network for Women In Aiken County

The funds were raised at the third annual WE Oyster Roast on Saturday, March 1 at the Fermata Club.

WE to Host Third Annual Oyster Roast to Benefit Local Aiken Women

Aiken, SC (February 3, 2014) -- Women Enlightened for Better Health (WE), Aiken Regional Medical Centers' women's health initiative, grew out of the hospital's desire to help local women take better care of themselves through support, education and care navigation. To continue the mission, WE will host the Third Annual Oyster Roast to benefit the Best Chance Network. All proceeds will stay right here in Aiken County to help women who cannot afford their yearly screening mammograms.
