Brain Attack Teams

Great strides have recently been made in the treatment of stroke (brain attack). New drugs can now decrease or even prevent permanent disability from a stroke—if treatment is administered within a few hours of onset. That’s why Aiken Regional Medical Centers’ expert brain attack teams are specially trained to treat urgent stroke symptoms 24 hours a day. They offer advanced interventional treatment and diagnostic capabilities, complemented by a longtime tradition of responsive, compassionate care.
